Seven years ago, Dan and I left the home we loved in South Dakota to chase a new dream (& warmer weather) in beautiful Wickenburg, Arizona. We carried with us the values and work ethic that South Dakota instilled —a deep respect for community, hard work, and treating people fairly and honestly. We wanted to build something good, a place where those same values could take root in Arizona soil. 

When we opened Ruth's Bunkhouse, our 30+ years of business and retail experience gave us a solid foundation, but starting fresh in a new place brought its own challenges. What carried us through was a passion for small business and genuine love for this town and its people. Every day, we try to do right by our neighbors and customers. We believe in treating people well and showing up for our community.

These seven wonderful years have taught us more than we ever expected. It's been humbling and rewarding, and we've built something we're truly proud of.
